Diesendruck, Tzevi Hirsch Wolf

   American philosopher and scholar of Galician origin. He taught at the Jewish Pedagogium in Vienna (1918-27), the Jewish Institute of Religion in New York (1927), the Hebrew University (1928-30), and the Hebrew Union College, Cincinnati (1930-40). He published Hebrew translations of Plato's writings and worte studies of Maimonides' philosophy.
